Black diamond tradathon Festival '23

The first big climbing fest to be held in Morgan Bay was the official Black Diamond Tradathon in 2023. It drew climbers from all over the country and helped to cement morgs as a bucket list climbing destination. Over 600 Trad routes exist on the dolerite bands reaching out of the ocean, slab, off-widths, hand cracks and nice juggy routes cater to every adventurous soul.

Seacliff Fest '24

2024 Morgan Bay Adventures hosted its first solo climbing fest which turned out to be a huge success. Climbers came from near and far to experience the incredible Seacliffs. With a handful of new climbers being introduced to the sport, it was so much more than we could have hoped for. We also opened the Climbers Cabin, a small backpacker's on the farm opposite the cliffs.

Seacliff Fest '25

At Seacliff fest '25 we launched the initiative for the Cape Morgan Climbing Club. Instructors and experienced trad climbers came from all over the country to introduce local youths to the sport. With huge sp0nsorships from local and national companies, the climbing bug definitely left its mark on the kids who are incredibly excited for the next one.
